The Sweet Pea: A Garden Companion

INTRODUCING…

… a brand-new periodical devoted to all things sweet pea!

Over the last 6 months or so, I've been quietly working on developing the right format for an idea that has been sitting just under the surface for years.  I am thrilled to finally share that The Sweet Pea: A Garden Companion is about a week from its charter publication date.  

Part look-book, reference, instruction, and exploration, the whole effort is a love song to the sweet pea from start to finish.  It's also a love song to tangible, printed media in a world of screens, short form video, and even shorter attention spans.  

Printed on luxurious, archival paper stock by a company as committed to environmentally responsible production as I am, each issue is designed to keep.  Over the coming years, it will build into a collection that spans hundreds of varieties of sweet peas and includes voices from all over the fascinating world of growing and hybridizing this beautiful flower.

Annual subscriptions are available as well as individual issues.  There are a limited number of Volume 1, Spring 2026 being printed, and no digital version is being produced.  I am certain each issue will be a cherished addition to your library for years.
